YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan—together with National Assembly speaker Ararat Mirzoyan, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan, and several other senior officials—on Saturday visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the February 27-29, 1988 pogroms of Armenians in Sumgait, Azerbaijan.

Pashinyan paid tribute to the victims of this crime.

The PM laid a wreath and placed flowers at the monuments to these victims.
