YEREVAN. - Opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) leader, former Armenian president Levon Ter-Petrosyan met with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Thomas Meli.
Ter-Petrosyan spoke about ANC’s approaches towards domestic political situation in Armenia, the outlines of establishing democracy and struggle towards widespread corruption, indicating early parliament and presidential elections as primary conditions for achieving these goals.
ANC headquarters representatives Levon Zurabyan, David Shahnazaryan and Avetis Avagyan also participated at the meeting.
