Twitter will tag posts that contain misinformation about COVID-19 vaccines to remove the most harmful false information regarding the coronavirus, the company said in a statement.

The company has already deleted over 8,400 tweets related to COVID-19 and took action against 11.5 million accounts around the world.

Besides, Twitter promises to punish violators of the company's rules based on a system that provides for indefinite blocking of the account for repeated violations.
