Xiaomi has patented a new anti-peeping technology for smartphones, RIA Novosti reports referring to ITHome.
The technology giant's patent suggests the use of a special sensor. The sensor is constantly working to recognize faces that appear within its angle of view. The smartphone recognizes predefined users.
With this technology, the smartphone will ensure the privacy of users by simply locking the device when the wrong eyes are looking at it. Besides, the development also involves fine-tuning, when the user himself specifies what an outsider can see.
The timing of the introduction of this technology into smartphones is not reported. Perhaps the development will remain a patent.
