Apple plans to introduce its new iPhone 5 in September.
The appearance of the smartphone will not change, but it will be equipped with new A5 processor, more powerful chip and an eight-megapixel camera instead of the five-megapixel model in the iPhone 4, says CNews.
The new phone will run the iOS 5 operating system which is designed to run on all Apple’s mobile devices.
Until late last year, iPads, iPhones and iPod touches used slightly different versions of iOS. Apple pushed back the release of the next iPhone to coincide with the release of the iOS 5 operating system.
