YEREVAN. - Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan received the representative of NATO Secretary General for the South Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai on Tuesday.
The sides discussed issues of cooperation between Armenia and NATO in defense sector, Armenian Ministry of Defense press service informs Armenian News - NEWS.am.
The parties noted that Armenia - NATO cooperation has successfully developed and includes areas of peacekeeping, military education, military training and defense reforms.
Ohanyan congratulated James Appathurai on his appointment as Special Representative of NATO in the Caucasus region and expressed hopes that his work will give new impetus to the development of bilateral relations.
