After nine rounds Pavel Eljanov tops the standings with 5.5 points. Jakovenko, Gashimov, Mamedyarov, Leko have 5 points each, Gelfand, Alekseev, Ponomariov and Wang Yue — 4.5, whereas Ivanchuk, Svidler, Inarkiev and Radjabov – 4 points each.
