The heads of law enforcement agencies have reported to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev that units of the CSTO joint peacekeeping contingent are arriving in Kazakhstan to assist in the establishment of order in the country, the presidential press service reported.

"This contingent has come for a limited time, mainly to carry out functions to ensure the protection of strategic facilities," the respective statement said.

During his meeting with the heads of law enforcement agencies, the President of Kazakhstan issued a number of orders on further stabilization of the situation in the country.
