Drivers on Monday resumed their protesting against the increase in auto insurance premiums, which will enter into force in Armenia as of today.

They assembled at Shahumyan Square in Yerevan, from where they marched to the car insurance bureau.

Earlier, Armenian News-NEWS.am reported that on January 31 and February 3, these drivers had protested also at Republic Square in Yerevan and outside the Central Bank of Armenia, respectively, protesting against this increase in car insurance payments. They had driven around Republic Square while honking the horns of their vehicles. In both cases, police had apprehended several of the drivers.
