LONDON. – The funeral ceremony of famous British singer Amy Winehouse was held in London on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old singer was found dead in her London apartment in London. Her death causes are unknown. Doctors believe that she died of overdose of drugs.
“Goodnight, my angel, sleep tight. Mummy and Daddy love you ever so much,” Amy’s father stated at the funeral ceremony,” Washington Post reports. Then those present sang Carole King’s “So Far Away,” one of Winehouse’s favorite songs.
Winehouse gained world fame after she released Back to Black breakthrough album. She won five Gremmies for “Rehab” in 2008.
