Since April 11, the Republic of Cyprus has canceled the mandatory outside wearing of protective masks, as well as the need to present QR codes at the entrance to office and industrial premises.

Also, from Monday, restrictions on the occupancy of theaters and cinema halls are lifted in Cyprus, TASS writes. It is again allowed to visit patients in public and private hospitals, subject to a preliminary rapid test. The quarantine period in case of coronavirus has been reduced from 10 to 7 days, and the number of office employees who are recommended to be transferred to a remote work mode has been reduced to 25% of the total number of staff.

The Cabinet of Ministers also approved that from April 15, the Cypriot authorities will switch from daily to weekly informing citizens about the number of people infected with coronavirus and the number of deaths from COVID-19, and from April 18, QR codes will no longer be required to visit any shopping areas.
