YEREVAN. - Winner of XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition, Armenian Narek Hakhnazaryan, does not plan to settle in Armenia in near future but he will gladly visit with concerts and master classes, said the musician to a press conference on Monday.

‘‘Let us be realistic, Armenia cannot provide the conditions I’ll get in other countries,’’ he added.

Hakhnazaryan currently lives in Moscow but has scheduled to settle in Europe. After winning in the competition new horizons have opened for the musician: he will perform in Tokyo, London and in various cities of Russia.

According to Hakhnazaryan, International Tchaikovsky Competition for cellists is the same as Olympic Games for sportsmen.
