Six people died as a ship capsized off the Lebanese coast of Tripoli overnight, including at least one child, Lebanese transport minister Ali Hamieh told Reuters.
A small boat carrying about 60 people sank off the coast on Saturday evening with Lebanese and Syrians on board.
Hamieh told Reuters that the young girl's body was removed on Saturday evening and that five more people were found on Sunday morning.
Earlier, the country's army reported that the ship left the coast illegally.
