Australia's new government, sworn into office on Wednesday, includes a record 13 women, including the first Muslim and Indigenous woman to be appointed by the Minister of Indigenous Affairs, AP reports.
The ceremony comes 11 days after new Prime Minister Anthony Albanese led the center-left Labor Party to an election victory.
Proud to be leading an inclusive government as diverse as Australia itself, Albanese tweeted.
