BEIRUT. – President of Lebanon Michel Suleiman will visit Armenia in 2012. This was stated during the meeting between Armenian Ambassador to Lebanon Ashot Kocharyan and President of Lebanon Michel Suleiman on Tuesday.
The sides discussed issues on deepening and expanding Armenian-Lebanese bilateral relations, issues of internal policy, and regional developments, press service of Armenian FM informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Other issues such as deepening the cooperation within the frameworks of international organizations, as well as high-ranking mutual visits will promote cooperation between two states. The president praised high the role of the Armenian community of Lebanon in political and social life of the state.
President Suleiman also asked the Ambassador to present the current stage of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resolution and other regional issues.
