BAKU. – The building of Institute of Peace and Democracy was pulled down in Baku.

“Employees of City hall of Baku and the Ministry of state property came to the institute on Thursday and said that the building will be pulled down next to the Institute. They told us to go out for safety. However, the excavator started pulling down our building,” an employee Azad Isazade told Turan agency.

The documents and property of the Institute were destroyed. No one presented an official document. Employees did not even have time to take the documents out of the building.

The authorities practically deport the inhabitants from central streets as they do not agree to small compensation.
