A call was received Tuesday at the operational management center of the Rescue Service of Armenia and the Yerevan Police from a man who informed that his mother left the house a few hours ago but had not returned.

The man found out through the video surveillance cameras that his mother was last seen near Lake Yerevan, where they found her cane, and she might have accidentally fallen into the lake.

And at 11:31am on Wednesday, the national center for crisis management received information that a person's dead body was seen in Lake Yerevan, and the help of rescuers is needed to retrieve it.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the rescuers took the dead body of S. S. (born in 1959) out of Yerevan Lake.
