YEREVAN. - Armenian Grandmaster Vladimir Hakobyan, unfortunately, will not be able to participate in the World Cup in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia on August 28, 2011.
Several days ago Hakobyan stumbled unluckily and broke his leg. After the surgery, the doctors have recommended the grandmaster not to travel for several weeks, Arnchess.am reports.
Armenian GMs Sergei Movsesian and Arman Pashikian will take part in the World Cup.
