At 11:35am on Monday, the police of Ijevan, Armenia, received information from the head of Vazashen village that the burnt body of Vazashen resident Sevada Ghazaryan, 23, was found at the beginning of this rural community.

The operative-investigative team that was dispatched to the scene found the charred body of this young man at the indicated place.

Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the Police of Armenia that as a result of investigative actions, a 32-year-old Aygehovit village resident was brought to the Ijevan police station at 8:30am on Tuesday.

He confessed that at around 9:45pm on August 21, he stabbed and killed Sevada Ghazaryan during an argument over monetary issues.

The 32-year-old man has been detained.

An investigation is being conducted.
