Larry the Cat has confirmed that outgoing British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has left the Downing Street residence.

“Yes, I came out to check that he’s gone. He has," the cat's Twitter account said on the morning of September 6 following Johnson's last speech as premier. Attached to the post is a photograph of Larry the cat sitting on the doorstep of the Prime Minister's Downing Street residence.
