YEREVAN. - Famous French singer Marten Yorgantz, Armenian by origin, will have a concert tour in Armenia.

“I particularly chose the regions because they do not have many concerts there. It will be a pleasure to sing for the children in rural areas,” said the singer.

Yorgantz intends to sing only in Armenian as he believes that in our country one has to sing in Armenian only.

The concerts are dedicated to 20th anniversary of Armenia’s independence and are organized by the Ministry of Diaspora. Yorgantz will perform in Aghveran (August 25), Berd (August 27), Gavar (August 30), Vedi (August 31) and Hrazdan (August 31).

Marten Yorgantz was born in Istanbul and graduated from Mkhitaryan school. He gave 99 charitable concerts in Armenian communities worldwide. Currently the artist is living in France.
