Many guests of STARMUS festival said that STARMUS held in Armenia was the best in the history of the festival, co-founder of STARMUS Garik Israelian said on Friday during the closing ceremony of STARMUS VI.

"The festival went very well. I didn't think it would go so well for various reasons: the coronavirus epidemic, the war, etc. All of these problems could have affected the success of the festival, but I'm glad to see that the problems didn't affect us at all. STARMUS was so powerful and strong that nothing affected the festival," said Israelian.

Israelian hopes that similar festivals will be held in Armenia in the future as well.

"There is no future in Armenia without science and education," he said.

According to him, the best cooperation between state bodies and STARMUS and the most active participation of students was in Norway and Armenia.

Prime Minister's Chief of Staff Araik Harutyunyan delivered a speech at the closing ceremony, stressing that the Armenian government would spare no effort to develop these areas. According to Harutyunyan, such festivals are an additional incentive for the development of science and education.

"Education and science without art no longer exist. And STARMUS is the best combination of this," Harutyunyan said.

Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan also attended the closing ceremony of the festival. He praised the conduct of the festival and thanked the organizers of the festival for organizing STARMUS VI on such a high level.
