YEREVAN. - Armenian Police Chief Directorate for Combating Organized Crime on Wednesday sent materials to Special Investigation Service of Armenia on attribution of fuel, allocated for the work of Traffic Police in regions by individual Police officials.

It was revealed that the commander of second Traffic Police Officer’s battalion Stepan Karakhanyan, spent only 121 thousand liters out of 227 thousand liters of fuel entrusted to him. The rest Karakhanyan appropriated.

On August 25 on the basis of submissions received in the Special Investigation Service of Armenia a criminal case was instituted over Article 308, part 2 and Article 179, part 3, paragraph 1.
