YEREVAN. – The status quo in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is preserved because of non-constructive approach of Azerbaijan. Baku has rejected the offers by the mediators for many times, spokesperson of Armenian ruling Republican Party, MP Edward Sharmazanov told Armenian News-NEWS.am commenting on Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov’s statement that the preservation of the status-quo on Karabakh conflict by the international community is unacceptable.

"I have to state our Azerbaijani colleagues that it is only their fault," Sharmazanov said. "I would like to remind them once again that Nagorno-Karabakh never ever made part of independent Azerbaijan and has nothing to do with its territorial integrity."
