YEREVAN. – Member of Armenian ruling coalition working group dialoging with the opposition, MP Gagik Minasyan expressed hope that the dialogue with opposition will soon restart, the MP told at a press conference on Monday.

Minasyan hopes that the oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) will be reasonable and will return to negotiations.

“We should make any effort for the dialogue to restart. We believe that the ANC will value its decision and will resume the negotiations,” the MP stated.

In case the ANC does not resume the negotiations, it will reduce the trust of its supporters. Besides, there are people among ANC who are interested in not-resuming the dialogue.

The negotiations between the opposition and authorities were stopped as seven activists of the ANC have been arrested. Except Tigran Arakelyan, the rest were later released. The ANC demands to change the measure of restraint for Tigran Arakelyan as well.
