YEREVAN. - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia hold Armenian-German consultations on the control of dual-use goods (goods that are used for peaceful purposes, but can be used to create weapons of mass destruction and missile delivery systems) on Monday.
From the Armenian side on the consultations were present representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defense, Economy, National Security Service, State Revenue Committee and Research Center for Nonproliferation of weapons of mass destruction. From the German side the delegation of Federal Office for the control of the German economy and exports (BAFA) participated in the meeting.
The sides discussed legislative changes in Armenia, the establishment of appropriate structures and legal processes, means of dual-use goods control, MFA press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
