An amateur treasure hunter has found 380 ancient coins in the United Kingdom, The Sun reports.

Engineer, 27, took up treasure hunting after he bought a metal detector. His first attempt to find the treasure ended in failure: he dug up only a few rusty nails and a butter knife.

The second time, the treasure hunter had better luck and found a pot of coins hidden during the English Revolution.

The engineer handed the coin to the coroner, who would decide what to do with the coins - exhibit them in the museum or sell them, and what reward to give to Randle.
