Gazprom has agreed with Turkey to quickly start negotiations on Russia's gas proposal to send the lost volumes on the Nord Stream through the Turkish Stream, also the parties will discuss the creation of a hub on the Turkish border with the European Union, which could be an indicator for gas prices, said the head of the gas company Alexey Miller, RIA Novosti reported.

"The Turkish side, of course, showed great interest, we have agreed with our colleagues, in particular, at the corporate level, with the Minister of Energy of Turkey that the dialogue will begin very, very quickly, literally at the beginning of next week. And we will proceed to an absolutely concrete discussion of the volumes and timing of the project," Miller said, responding to a question about how Turkey reacted to Russia's proposal to send the lost volumes of gas via the Nord Stream "Plus the understanding that at the Turkey-EU border ... we will discuss the creation of a hub - a trading platform that could become a price indicator for gas supplies to the markets of consuming countries," he added. "Turkey's answer is yes," Miller concluded.
