The authorities in Dubai on January 1, 2023 canceled the 30% tax on the sale of alcohol, reports AP.
Previously the Dubai authorities have gradually eased restrictions on alcohol. In particular, in 2016, they allowed daytime sales of alcohol during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
