Archaeologists found a perfectly preserved 16-meter-long papyrus with texts from the Book of the Dead in the necropolis of the ancient Egyptian Saqqara, 25 kilometers from Cairo. Such complete texts had not been found for a hundred years, Egypt Independent reported.

The artifact was named "Papyrus Vaziri" in honor of the General Secretary of the Supreme Council of Antiquities. The find has been restored at the Egyptian Museum and will soon be on display.
