The majority of French citizens do not support the pension reform that the country's government is going to carry out, BFMTV reported.

According to the Elabe survey, 72% of respondents reject the proposed changes and only 27% approve.

As noted, 40% of the French are strongly opposed to pension reform and only 5% of respondents are fully for it.

At the same time, most dissenters say they reject the changes proposed by the government, rather than oppose the government as a whole.

The French have complaints mainly about the text of the reform, 74% of those surveyed called it "unfair.
