U.S. Boeing will supply the Israeli Air Force with 25 state-of-the-art F-15 fighter jets as part of its expanded cooperation with Israel, with the possibility of doubling the shipment in the future, the concern said in a press release Monday.
Boeing will also deliver 25 new F-15 IA (Israel Advanced) advanced fighters to Israel. There is the possibility of delivering 25 more of these aircraft in the future, the press release said.
The company added that Israel will also receive four Boeing KC-46 military refueling planes, with the possibility of four more in the future.
The KC-46 is a high-tech refueling aircraft that will replace the aging Boeing 707 aircraft currently used by the Israeli Air Force as refuelers. Deliveries are expected in 2025, the company said.
