Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki has said she no longer intends to run for a similar post in the U.S. presidential administration. In an interview with The New York Times, she said she had no such plans.
"God forbid. That's my worst nightmare," Psaki said in response to a reporter's question about whether she plans to run for elected office in the White House again.
As Psaki pointed out, she will never run for press secretary again and has ended her political career altogether by starting to work in TV. She also added that she will debut in March as the host of a show on MSNBC.
Psaki stressed she has no plans to return to government.
