The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan has given an extensive "answer" to the statements made by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at Friday's Cabinet meeting of the Armenian government.
In response to Pashinyan's statement that Azerbaijan's blockade of the Lachin corridor prevents the provision of basic necessities and medical supplies to the Armenian residents of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), that Azerbaijan is pursuing a policy of Armenian ethnic cleansing in Artsakh, and that Azerbaijan has carried out provocations in the border zone of Armenia, the Azerbaijan MFA simply stated that what is happening in the Lachin corridor does not concern Armenia.
In addition, after thinking for a day, Azerbaijan decided to blame Armenia for Thursday's incident, the purpose, allegedly, is to "cast a shadow on the successful operation of the checkpoint by Azerbaijan and hinder the safe and free use of the checkpoint."
And as always, Azerbaijan posits a whole list of demands.
