PreferredMaryvonne Kendergi passed away in the evening of September 27 at the age of 96. She was born on August 15, 1915 in Turkey.
On “Radio Canada” she presented more than 200 reports from Europe’s leading festivals.
She learned to play on the fortepiano at the highest “Ecole Normale” school in Paris and studied history of arts at Sorbonne. She moved to Canada in 1952. In 1966 she participated in the creation of Quebec’s modern Music society.
