The representative of Azerbaijan spreads shameless lies by circulating an old family video and trying to cover the policy of ethnic cleansing implemented by his state and his president. Edmon Marukyan, Ambassador-at-Large of Armenia, noted this in a statement on Twitter. 

“Azerbaijan keeps 120,000 ethnic Armenians, including 30,000 children as hostages, cutting them off from the whole world, blocking the supply of [natural] gas and electricity and starving these people to death. This is what [Hikmet] Hajiyev [assistant to the president of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev] tries to hide behind his false statement. NK [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] resident children: Leo 3 years old & Gita 6 years old died as a consequence of a serious humanitarian situation. The government of Azerbaijan is directly responsible for this crime,” Marukyan added.

Hajiyev on Thursday posted on social media a video of people dancing, and argued that the claims of the Armenian side about the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh are false.
