YEREVAN. – Armenian actress Anzhela Sargsyan’s “man” is facing most serious problems in the criminal world, Zhamanak daily writes. “Our sources inform that criminal authorities visited Karen Areyan, prior to his restrain order on October 7, 2011, and demanded an explanation for his actions.     

In his interview with a news medium, the latter [Areyan] had said he had posted on the web for several seconds his and Anzhela Sargsyan’s pornographic pictures so that his friends who are in prison, and to whom Anzhela Sargsyan had allegedly said Karen had raped her, could believe that such thing did not happen, and that his and Anzhela Sargsyan’s relation was with mutual accordance.  

Being the son of Shura, a former “thief,” Karen Areyan until recently was considering living the “criminal” life, which assumes special rules of life that were violated with this incident. Karen Areyan’s problems increased at Nubarashen Prison, where he is kept on charges of illegal collection, storage, usage, or dissemination of information on personal or family life, and with illegal distribution of pornographic material, or objects,” Zhamanak daily writes.  

Experts from the Armenian Culture Ministry’s “Examination of Cultural Values” organization had concluded that these photos, which were posted in the Internet, are of pornographic nature.

And according to publications in the press, Sargsyan’s ex-boyfriend Karen Areyan had posted these photos.

Anzhela Sargsyan became popular after her roles in the soap opera “Where is My Man?” (Armenian version of “Sex and the City”) and “The Normal Serial” (Armenian version of “Two and a Half Men”).

This development had brought forth a huge social reaction, as Sargsyan was married during her relationship with Areyan, and, once the photos were posted on the Internet, her co-actresses in “Where is My Man?” refused to act with her.
