After its defeat against Ireland in its final match in Euro 2012 qualifiers, Armenian national football team’s head coach Vardan Minasyan congratulated the Irish, during the press conference held after the game, and wished them success in the playoffs for Euro 2012.  

“You have an excellent team, but I am also proud of my guys who performed excellently in the qualifiers,” Minasyan said, Sky Sports quoted.

Vardan Minasyan did respond to questions.

In its final Group B match in Euro 2012 qualifiers, Armenia’s national team on Tuesday played an away game in Dublin against Ireland. Armenia was defeated with a score of 2-1 and did not qualify for Euro 2012.
