Azerbaijani foreign minister Jeyhun Bayramov tried to convince the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Mirjana Spoljaric Egger, that the ongoing Azerbaijani blockade of Nagorno Karabakh is "unfounded."

During their talk, Bayramov noted that "Armenia's statements about the blockade are unfounded, currently the daily passage of ethnic Armenian residents in both directions on the Lachin road is ensured," according to APA.

Let's remind, however, that the aforesaid daily crossing of Armenian residents is carried out solely with the assistance and escorting of the ICRC.
