Armenia’s natural growth rate, in the first nine months of 2011, constituted 4.5 per mil, which was 5 per mil, for the same time period last year. 

And this reduction in Armenia’s natural growth rate is conditioned by lesser number of births and greater number of deaths.

Yet the sole positive indicator in natural movement of population in Armenia was registered in the number marriages. This number was 5.4 per mil, in 2010, but this year it is 6.1 per mil.
