Armenian Apostolic Church Diocese Archbishop Aram Ateshyan consecrated the Church of St. Gregory the Illuminator in Kayseri, where the next day the first Divine Liturgy dedicated to children missing after last Seker Bayram (last day of Ramadan) was held.
The restoration of St. Gregory Church (dates 1191) dome started September 2008. According to the Church priest Karapet Istepeyan, Armenians of Istanbul attend the service twice a year.
