Compared to the data of the previous poll, which was conducted in February, the number of supporters of Armenia's membership in the CSTO has decreased by 10%, while the number of supporters of NATO membership has increased by 7%. Aram Navasardian, director of the Armenian office of the Gallup International Research Center, said this at a meeting with journalists on July 10.

He explained that 44.3% of those polled in July believe that Armenia should be a neutral country and not be a member of the CSTO or NATO, 16.9% believe that Armenia should continue its membership in the CSTO, and 29% believe that Armenia should strive for NATO membership.

According to him, 15.2% of respondents believe that Armenia is definitely moving in the right direction, 10.6% - is rather in the right direction, 23.1% - is rather in the wrong direction, 28.5% - is definitely in the wrong direction.
"22.5% of respondents found it difficult to answer this question," he noted.

The poll was conducted by telephone from July 3 to July 6 among 1,100 respondents.
