YEREVAN. – Law on Lustration will be adopted neither now nor in future, head of the Armenian National Security Service Gorik Hakobyan told Armenpress agency.

Some European states, including several post Soviet ones, have taken measures against it. To note, it did not find its approval by the wide range of society and was stopped in time. The main contribution of disclosing foreign spies in Armenia belongs to those, who cooperate with the Service. Concrete data on their identity is a state secret according to the law of Armenia. I believe that law on Lustration will be adopted neither now nor in future.

Regardless of the political processes, our citizens will put security of the state above everything,” Hakobyan stated.
