A man from the US state of Ohio had plenty of reasons to celebrate when he won a $500,000 lottery prize while celebrating his 40th birthday, reports UPI.

The Findlay man bought a $10 Mega Multiplier scratch-off ticket from the Speedway while celebrating his 40th birthday, the Ohio Lottery said.

The ticket turned out to be a $500,000 winner.

The birthday reveler said his prize money will go toward taking a trip and making investments.
