Turkish authorities have once again uttered the word “genocide”.

The events in Gaza are a clear proof that the international system was designed, is used and acts in the interests of a certain minority, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said at a session of the “Future of Palestine” conference on “Global Diplomacy and the Future of Palestine” organized by Turkey's Justice and Development Party in Ankara, Anadolu reported.

Fidan drew attention when his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Al-Safadi revealed during his speech the extent of the tragedy in the Gaza Strip that unfolded before the eyes of the entire world community.

According to the Turkish minister, the people of the region “have been suffering tremendous agony for 70 years, and the international community, Arab and Islamic countries have shown complete impotence and failed attempts to put an end to this tragedy.”

According to Fidan, “genocide is taking place in front of everyone's eyes, and the international community is completely helpless and unable to put an end to the killings.”

The Turkish Foreign Minister drew attention to the fact that 42,000 people, mostly women and children, have been killed in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, and they were killed deliberately and systematically.

All this happened as a result of indiscriminate attacks, in military terminology, these people were deliberately targeted by Israeli soldiers, Hakan Fidan said.

The Turkish minister reiterated that “a real genocide is taking place in the Palestinian exclave” and called “categorically not to forget this.”

“Even more tragic than the genocide is the stance of the international community,” the Turkish foreign minister added.

The international system has completely collapsed, unable to withstand the test it has been going through for the past year, he added.
