Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi assured that Tehran has not waived its right to retaliate against the Israeli regime's latest act of aggression, stressing that the appropriate response will follow in due course, Tasnim reported.

In a video conference with commanders and personnel of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Command Staff on Monday, Abbas Araghchi emphasized the ministry's balanced policy over the past 12 months.

Responding to a question from the IRGC command on the timing of Operation True Promise III in response to the October 26 strike by Israeli forces on Iran, Araghchi said the IRI Foreign Ministry has made it clear that the Israeli operation constitutes a new act of aggression.

He said such an Israeli act of aggression demands a response from Iran.

“We have not given up our right to react (against Israel) and will show reaction in due time and in a way we deem appropriate,” the Iranian foreign minister said.

According to him, the Foreign Ministry will never make emotional decisions.

Meanwhile, Abbas Araghchi said Iran has already given a response, “considering all conditions and probabilities as well as plots that may have been planned against Iran” to prevent the spread of war.
