Iran’s Foreign Ministry summoned the Swiss ambassador in Tehran, who represents U.S. interests in the country, and lodged a protest over Israel’s strikes and U.S. support for them, Tasnim reports.
“Following the blatant violation of Iran’s territorial integrity and sovereignty by Israel… Swiss Ambassador Nadine Lozano, who represents U.S. interests in Tehran, was summoned to the Foreign Ministry by Deputy Minister Issa Kameli, where the Islamic Republic expressed its strong protest over the act of aggression by Israel and the support it received from the United States,” the agency’s statement reads.
