“The United Kingdom was not involved in these actions. And let me say clearly and unequivocally that Russia’s claims that British sovereign bases on the island of Cyprus were somehow involved — this is nonsense.

It is deeply irresponsible of Russia to spread disinformation at such moments. We firmly support all diplomatic efforts to return to stability,” she added.
