U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Washington supports Israel, called the Israeli strikes on Iranian territory a "successful attack," and urged Tehran to return to the negotiating table.

“They need to make a deal before it’s too late. Otherwise, it will be too late. The people I did business with are dead,” said the American leader in a phone comment to CNN. He did not specify who exactly he was referring to.

When asked whether they died as a result of the Jewish state's attack, Trump said: “They didn’t die from the flu, not from COVID.”
