The leaders of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, held another phone conversation. This was reported to journalists by the Presidential Aide for International Affairs, Yury Ushakov, according to TASS.

"Just now, another phone conversation took place between the President of Russia, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, and the President of the United States, Donald Trump," said the Kremlin representative.

The duration of the phone conversation between the leaders of Russia and the United States was 50 minutes.

"The conversation lasted about an hour, or to be precise, 50 minutes. It was substantive, candid, and most importantly, very useful," said Ushakov.

According to the Kremlin representative, the Russian President informed Trump about the progress of the prisoner exchange with Ukraine.

"During the conversation, our President informed Donald Trump about the implementation of the agreements reached at the meeting between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations in Istanbul on June 2. Our President noted that these days an exchange of prisoners of war is taking place, including seriously wounded individuals and POWs under the age of 25. Ukraine also accepted two batches of the bodies of the deceased," Ushakov noted.

He also stated that Putin informed the U.S. President about Russia’s readiness to mediate between Israel and Iran.

"The importance of preventing an escalation of the conflict was emphasized, as well as the readiness of the Russian side to undertake possible further efforts," Ushakov said.

The President of Russia also confirmed Moscow's readiness to continue negotiations with Kyiv after June 22.

"The Russian side expressed readiness to continue negotiations with the Ukrainians, as agreed, after June 22. Donald Trump took this information into account and again noted his interest in a prompt end to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict," said the Kremlin representative.
